PLACEMENT CELL

1. INDIAN NAVY RECRUITMENT UNDER UNIVERSITY ENTRY SCHEME Indian Navy had planned to Recruit Engineers under university entry scheme. Around 10 Students of ECE had applied and the application and the relevant details were provided by the Placement cell and the 1st round of selection will be held in the month of October 2009.

2. OFF CAMPUS AT BHARAT NIKETAN COLLEGE, ANDIPATTY:   Campus Interview was organized by National placement consultancy at Bharat Niketan Engineering College at Andipatty on 28.08.09.There were 52 Students from our college participated in the Campus recruitment drive. Five companies were present in the recruitment drive and they were 1.Geomarine Bio-tech Company from Chennai.   2. India Infoline from Madurai.     3. A&T Networking from Madurai. 4. Sutherland BPO from Chennai. 5. Creators InfoTech from Madurai.  Students were taken for the off campus to gain experience and they got the idea about the Personal interview and Group Discussion. All the students participated in the recruitment drive and got the experience. Five students from Bio-Tech were selected for the final interview by Geomarine Company and their CEO Dr. Charles said once they finish their Final year they will be called for the final interview. Three Students Selected in GD by Sutherland BPO and they said they will intimate for the Final interview. All together it was a great experience for the final year students.

3. WRITTEN TEST CONDUCTED BY EDU COMP SOLUTION:    Edu comp Solution of Bangalore conducted written test on 8.9.09 for the final year students of ECE, CSE, MCA, EEE in the college premises. The written test was conducted by the persons from Edu comp solution. There were 89 Students Participated in the written test. The result was given by the Edu comp solution on 12.9.09. Fifty students were selected for the GD and personal Interview.

4. SELF ANALYSIS AND TECHNICAL INTERVIEW PROGRAM:  This program was conducted for the Final year students of ECE in the college premises on 11.09.09 by Mr.Bharath of Career Cell Chennai. There were 41 students attended the program. The program gave an impact and students understood their weakness and all were self motivated by this program. All the Participants appreciated the program and asked to conduct the same type of program in near future.

5. INDIAN ARMY RECRUITMENT DRIVE AT RAJA ENGG COLLEGE: Indian Army conducted 1st round of selection at Raja college of Engineering in Madurai on 15.9.09.Two final year Students of Computer science Mayil Raj & Sankar had attended the Interview and the second round will be intimated to the individuals.

6. GROUP DISCUSSION & PERSONAL INTERVIEW CONDUCTED BY EDU COMP SOLUTION:    Edu comp Solution of Bangalore Planned to conduct GD and personal interview on 22.9.09 for those who were selected in the written test which had been conducted on 8.9.09.  Out of 50 selected in written test only 36 students attended the GD in which 22 students were selected for the Personal Interview which was conducted on the same day. The Final result will be intimated in the first week of October.

7. FINAL RESULTS OF  EDU COMP SOLUTION:    Edu comp Solution of Bangalore conducted  personal interview on 22.9.09 and the final result was declared on 7.10.09 and the selected list of student are   mentioned below:

8. CAMPUS INTERVIEW AT ANNAUNIVERSITY, TRICHY: M/S Net Magnus solutions India Pvt Ltd. Conducted Campus interview at Anna University Trichy on 24.10.09 for the Final Year students of MCA who were without any history of arrears. Three students from our college participated in the selection process. They attended the first round and as the company had briefed about their terms and conditions as the selected students should be willing to sign four years bond and working hours will be of 12 hours of duration in a day. The students did not agree to sign the bond and they came out after attending the first round.

9. INDIAN NAVY RECRUITMENT DRIVE AT PSNA COLLEGE IN DINDUGAL: Indian Navy conducted second round of selection process at PSNA College in Dindugal on 30.10.09. Five students participated in the Group discussion and M. Davis Jose of ECE department was selected in the Group discussion and finally attended the personal interview. He was informed that the result will be intimated before February 2010 after the All India merit list is prepared.

10. CAMPUS INTERVIEW AT St.MICHAEL COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING AND    TECHNOLOGY, KALAIYARKOIL:. Slash Support Conducted Campus interview at St.Michael College of Engineering and Technology, Kalaiyar koil on 02.12.09. There are 120 students of All departments Participated in this Campus Interviewand the selected list of student are   mentioned below:
