                                             CSE DEPARTMENT

Since its inception in 1998, the Department of Computer Science and Engineering has been continuously making progress in teaching and R&D activities. Started with an intake of 60 students, the sanctioned intake was increased to 90 seats in 2007. The Department has been maintaining an active interaction with the industries particularly with the Computer Society of India.

We sincerely strive to develop proactive, enterprising students with an intent to learn and eagerness to excel. We emphasize and encourage innovation, creativity intrapreneurship, positive interdependence, team spirit and productivity in human Endeavour’s.

Our Department faculty is very dedicative and cooperative in completing all works successfully with a team spirit. They got the desire to impart high quality education to students with practical exposure as per the industry expectations. Some of the staff are working in the field of Software Engineering, Image Processing and wireless communication to get expertise. All the staffs are working towards the common goal of 100% pass percentage and placement.

The Department has entered into an MoU with IBM India Pvt. Ltd, Indsys Technology Solutions,  NIIT India Pvt Ltd., BSNL and Oracle University for training and Development Programmes besides R&D activities of Students&Staffs.

The students of the Department have brought out quite number of innovative projects such as GPS in Traffic Management, Smart Cards, etc. The software team of the Department has made laudable contribution by developing software for campus management, attendance and on-line test. Many of the students are well placed in leading software companies such as TCS, Infosys, Satyam, Polaris etc.
